Stallion - China Visit [USA]
(bay horse 1997, Red Ransom ex Furajet by The Minstrel)

CHINA VISIT PASSES AWAY PEACEFULLY AT AGE 20

China Visit passed away on 18/8/17. The big kindhearted stallion never showed his age and was a picture of health till his passing.

Best known as the sire of champion mare Moonlight Romance, China Visit was overshadowed by two extraordinary barn mates in Razeen and Multidimensional.

Despite this, his progeny notched up 16 classic wins and 52 black type performances. In addition to Moonlight Romance, he produced horses of the caliber of Xisca, Attila, Ruby Queen, Silverina, Setaflame and Safari etc.

Winner of the Prix du Rond-Point Casino Barriere de La Rochelle Gr.2 at Longchamp, he ran second in the Prix de la Foret Gr.1 and third in the Hong Kong Mile Gr.1. He also won the UAE Derby.

By sire of sires Red Ransom and from the speedy group performer Furajet by the Minstrel, China Visit was bred in the purple.

He leaves behind eight foals on the ground and several important members of our broodmare band. His daughters replicate the Northern Dancer/Red Ransom nick present in Multidimensional's pedigree and the Northern Dancer/Sir Gaylord nick present in Speaking Of Which's pedigree. We therefore have a lot to look forward to from these matings. May his soul rest in peace.
